Clare Carpet Bowls – New season starts 17/9/14

Clare Carpet Bowls Club.

The Club is best described as a ‘social event with carpet bowls thrown in’!  Members meet every Wednesday evening in Hall 3 of the Community Centre from mid September to early April.  Bowling starts around 7:30pm and continues to around 10:00pm, with a break somewhere around 8:30pm for coffee and biscuits.  During the season, the Club plays friendly (non-league) matches against five other clubs, both away, at their place, and at home, our place.  Win or lose, these are enjoyable and often quite hilarious.

Our first evening for the current season is Wednesday, 17 September 2014.  Please come along and give it a try.  Previous experience of carpet bowls, or any other type of bowls, is not required.  Skill is optional!  After 20 years, we are still learning!!!
