Clare Historical & Archaeological Society: Dr Carenza Lewis on the 2013 Excavations in Clare Castle

Clare Carpet Bowls Club

Every Wednesday from 19:30 until 22:00 or thereabouts in The Old School, Clare Suffolk.

Hall 3 (entrance next to The Cock inn).

Club meetings every Wednesday with both home and away matches against other local clubs.  Playing fees are £2 per person per evening and home matches have a raffle and food.

New members are always welcome, especially younger ones, since this is a social club open to all ages, with carpet bowls thrown in.

Come along and try your hand.  You’ll find that it is good fun.

Burns Night 2014

Autumn Horticultural and Produce Show

_MG_4795Entries are invited for classes including vegetables, fruit, flowers and pot plants, cookery, preserves, flower arranging and crafts. There is also a section for younger entrants.

New exhibitors are most welcome. The Autumn Horticultural show has divisions for local entries plus an open section with no area restrictions.

Classes for Late Chrysanthemums in both divisions.
